About this course
This course is based upon the provisions of paragraph 10.4 of the IMO publication guidelines for inert gas systems. It is suitable for officers, crew, superintendents and fleet managers of tankers with inert gas plants.
The course covers the development of associated regulations and a comprehensive description of each component of both flue gas and generator inert gas systems. Included is a session on fault finding, controls, alarms and shutdowns. A section on emergency procedures and nitrogen generators is also incorporated.
