Pilots Combined Ship Handling (Manned Models) and Bridge Simulator

About this course

This course uses a unique training combination of both manned ship models (three days) and the bridge simulator (two days) to provide distinctive continuing professional development for pilots, as follows: 

• Three days at Timsbury Lake, operating appropriate scale ship models 
• Two days at our maritime simulation centre on a ship’s bridge simulator, where further exercises can be practised on a port-specific location. 

Marine pilots can extend their knowledge and expertise, with particular reference to special situations encountered within their sphere of operations. 

To maximise these training opportunities, the course can be customised in time and content to meet individual requirements.
