Helicopter Underwater Escape Training with Emergency Breathing System (EBS)

About this course

This OPITO-approved course is designed for personnel travelling over water by rotary wind aircraft where requirements exist for this emergency training with emergency breathing systems (EBS). Most offshore oil and gas installations, wind farm and vessel operators require their employees, contractors and, in some cases, even visitors to undertake training prior to travelling offshore as a minimum.

The training covers the requirements for areas of offshore activities where emergency breathing systems (EBS) are in use which meets mandatory or company specific training requirements with this safety equipment. The training program is fully approved by OPITO with supporting certification and accredited to the Vantage database upon successful completion. The certificate is valid for four years from the date of issue.

Note: EBS training is included in the main offshore safety course BOSIET and Escape Chute Training.
